Outlaw Modified Monster Beetle

This Outlaw Monster Beetle has been chopped, channeled, lowered, and widened. It dominated the modified truck class, holding it's own against the conversion kits and stadium trucks that were just becoming available in 1990. Note the Outlaw Sprint Car wing above the rear of the `truck'.

Another truck was in the works to compete with the ever-increasing performance of the new stadium trucks. The next truck started as a barely used RC-10T , and after painting a new body, rebuilding the chassis, and a few modifications, it was ready to compete. Pre-race inspection discovered the new truck was under weight, and had to carry a `Loonie' on board, while racing the 6 cell stock class.
